My back patio is a colored concrete slab --cira 1050's. As a do-it-self-er, I want to know the best way to disguise the existing faded seafoam green color of the concrete. Skilled at faux painting, I was thinking of scoring the slab into a diamond pattern, and maybe using some type of an acid stain to make the concrete the color of old terra cotta....Is this possible?

Thanks for your help!nullnull

This is a great idea and you may want to put a 4" to 6" border around it perhaps with some bands. This will make it easier to make your tile cuts right to the line and a couple of colors will bring it out more. Try several colors first as a test in cocealed area and then go for it. Use a waterbase sealer if you want to preserve the light pastel colors as a solvent base will darken it and you will probably lose them.
I hope this helps, Your Friend In Concrete,
